***100th Day Homework Assignment
***Due –Friday, February 10th
**Please know this is a mandatory assignment for all CHP kindergarten children.**
Here are some ideas………
- Collect 100 of something (100 cotton balls, paperclips, pennies, candy, crayons, stickers, etc) and display them in a special way. Please don’t use foam board.
We would like to hang all the projects up.
- We look forward to seeing every child’s 100th day creation proudly displayed!
Thank You in advance for all your support!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Warm regards,
The Kindergarten Team
Imagine the possibilities for a kindergarten child when there is an open trusting environment where each child is encouraged to question, contribute and launch out. We guide our students individually at their own speed, toward new experiences and insights. All areas of academics are coordinated to promote an understanding of people and an enjoyment of learning.
Classes are taught with an approach that recognizes the different learning styles and needs of each student. Students build a strong foundation of essential skills that equip them for future learning and developing personal relationships.
Educating the Whole Child
A child who enters school in good health and feels safe and connected to his/her school is ready to learn. A student who has at least one adult in school who understands his/her social and emotional development is more likely to stay in school. All students who have access to challenging academic programs are better prepared for further education, work and civic life. These components must work together, not in isolation. That is the goal of whole child education. That is our goal.
*Kindergarten has numerous celebrations. Please click on the tab “Pics” at the top of the page to view our fun filled memories!*
Our Kindergarten day begins at 8:30am and ends at 2:30pm. We are partners in the education of your child and communication between home and school is very important.
