After completing research reports on a variety of historical events, the 5th grade students wrote historical fiction based on the research they had done. Once into to the project, they all seemed to discover that this wasn’t as difficult a task as they had at first assumed….. especially since they knew their subject matter very well before writing the stories.

For most of the projects, the students used StoryJumper to illustrate and complete their books.
