Hi! I’m Mrs. Steiner. I’m excited to be the middle school teacher for Language Arts at Cedar Hill Prep. I can’t wait to share with you my love of writing, math, music, science, reading, history, art, movies, food…. well, just about everything that makes life interesting.

I have a pretty diverse background. I’m highly qualified to teach elementary grades and middle school math. I spent many years in the computing related fields – I even opened a computer training business! In college, I majored in Math and German. Even now, I’m back in school getting a master’s degree in Educational Technology. You can never stop learning!

I’m passionate about what I do – teaching children. I hope I’ll pass along this passion, as well as a work ethic based in honesty, perseverance, empathy, and respect to my students and their families.

In my free time, I live in Frenchtown with my husband, my 27 year old son, his wife, and my new grandbaby, along with 4 crazy cats, many annoying squirrels, a few frogs and snakes, and a plethora of birds. (We live in a wonderful area in the country!) I still play around a lot with technology by building websites for churches and businesses. I love to sing, and am never happier than when I’m harmonizing with a church choir. I love to experiment with healthy recipes, expand my gardens and build things when I’m home. When I’m not home, my husband and I love exploring new places all over the world.
